I have been in a relationship with my partner for a few months now. I feel he has become very distant and does not have enough time for me. I am unable to communicate with him.her. I am just feeling scared that I might face a break up and will be left all alone. Can you please guide me as to how I can save this relationship?

One constantly craves for a person’s support, approval, and attention. This is because one isn’t giving themselves any of the above things.
Here are a few ways to build a healthy love for ourselves.
- Create healthy self love- Give time to yourself. Invest in whatever gives you joy and peace. Embrace your weakness and flaws, prioritize your physical and mental well-being, value your feelings and emotions, give yourself permission to rest when you need to, forgive yourself when you have to .
- Cultivate healthy self-esteem- Believe that you are valuable and worthy regardless of who’s by your side. Have the ability to set your limits, express your needs assertively, and ability to leave the relationship when it’s no longer beneficial to you.
- Take care of the other areas of your life- Sometimes, we make the mistake of prioritizing our relationship above all other aspects of our life. We neglect our career, our human connections, and our relationship with us. Set your priorities and ensure to focus on them.
- Reflect- A relationship has to nurture, enrich, inspire and help’s one to evolve as a person. It’s important to reflect on how one feels about it. Also, to find out if one needs to change something in our relationship or simply to understand that it no longer brings you anything positive.
