Question : I didn’t get good percentage in 12th board exams and I am very depressed with this.
Dear Teentalker,
Thanks for reaching us and sharing your concerns. I can understand why are you feeling likewise.
But, remember friend, this is not the last exam of your life, you have many more to give in future. You can always learn from your experiences, and never try to compare yourself from others as we all are different creatures with different capabilities and capacities. Next time try to compete with yourself first. This phase will pass soon, trust me. In your next exam work hard more throughout the year and try to gauge where you lack.
We all face ups and downs in life, that an inevitable part of life. There is so much wastage of vital emotional energy in self inflicting ,self beating and blaming. As student, you need to stay focused on your studies and learning skills ,personality development , physical well being , fun and leisure to distress and rejuvenate ,be happy and preparing the launch pad for the career. So look up in the mirror ,you will see the greatest creation of God who gives us the inner resources.
It is important to remember that all people are different and have different skills and capabilities. And most importantly, that everyone has a special skill or talent. Work towards finding out what yours is and focus on that. When you find what you enjoy doing, and what you are good at, these over expectations and lack of freedom to take your own decisions will automatically become unimportant and you will find your purpose.
Hope this helps, if you have any other query do connect online for chat between 11am-8pm or drop us an offline message.
Best regards,
